This may seem expensive, however your landlord will almost certainly charge you far more for the service of undertaking this for you after you’ve left.
• 3. Have a spring clean – Moving is seriously stressful, and whilst you’re likely not feeling in the mood to don your marigolds and undertake a deep clean, it is, unfortunately, an essential task if you wish to be given your deposit back. That said, there are some exceptions, with certain lettings agents stipulating in the lease that you benefit from a cleaning company come the end of tenancy (giving you another reason to check through that lease thoroughly).
