How do I book your services? Believe it or not, this is one of our most frequently asked questions. Our online FAQs provide a succinct response to that very question. As we do not presently have a storefront, this section of our website is an excellent resource. It was collated to make your booking process even faster. Feel free to read through our responses if you are short on time, before requesting a quote. Today, though, we are going a bit further into the A-Z of using our services. Step 1: Request a quote
In an effort to save you time and to simplify our process as much as possible, there are direct links to our removals quote form on the Van Man York Removals homepage. Step 2: Complete your removal details

This short form contains the key information required to provide you with a quote. To help remove the guesswork we have even included a few dropdown menus with suggested responses. Step 3: Check your email
Immediately after submitting your request, we receive an email notification. We will check our schedule and confirm whether your move can be facilitated on your desired day and time. When completing the removals request form, we encourage you to select the flexible dates option. That way, even if your desired date and time are not available, we will be able to inform you of the next available time in our email response. If you’re based in York, this first email response will also include a quote at an hourly rate. For those based outside of York, for example in London or Leeds, you will receive an initial deposit amount.
Step 4: Confirmation and payment
Once you agree to the booking date via email, we will then email you payment instructions and banking details. You will be required to make a deposit and return proof of payment to us via email in order to complete the booking process. If you’re in York, this deposit is the equivalent of the first hour of the overall cost of the move. As mentioned previously, for those outside York, the initial deposit amount will vary. We will email you to confirm receipt of your deposit and confirmation of your booking. The outstanding balance is to be paid in cash to the driver, at the end of the move, before s/he departs.
Step 5: Dispatching the job
Once your booking process is complete, your removal details are dispatched to one of our drivers. On moving day, your driver will ensure that s/he arrives on time. S/he will arrive with the requested number of vans and the appropriate amount of manpower for the job. At Van Man York Removals, we pride ourselves on our punctuality. Step 6: Move completed!
So, you successfully booked us. You packed up and moved to your new location. And you have settled your outstanding balance. You are now all settled into your new space. There’s just one final step, which helps us out so much.
